UNEP/MAP-SPA/RAC is recruiting for a fixed term a Fundraising Strategy Development Project Assistant for the funding of the Post-2020 SAPBIO and the Regional Strategy for MCPA and OECM in the Mediterranean.

The candidate should have a university degree in natural resources management, biology or ecology, fisheries science or a related field of biodiversity conservation, preferably marine, or equivalent.

The candidate must also have at least three years of professional experience in the management of projects or programmes in the field of biodiversity, preferably marine and coastal, and/or marine protected areas or in equivalent environmental protection field as well as a good level of English and French.
