01/21: Call for consultancy for the development of concepts to set up the SPAMI Day and SPAMI Certificate

SPA/RAC is launching a call for consultancy aiming at the development of concepts to set up the SPAMI Day celebration and SPAMI Certificate

 

 

 

 

 

In December 2019, the 21st Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Barcelona Convention and its Protocols (COP 21) adopted a decision requesting the Secretariat to draft the concepts in order to set up the Specially Protected Areas of Mediterranean Importance Day (SPAMI Day) and SPAMI Certificate, and submit them for consideration by the Contracting Parties at their COP 22 (December 2021).

Being the regional activity centre entrusted with the task of assisting the Mediterranean countries in implementing the Protocol concerning Specially Protected Areas and Biological Diversity in the Mediterranean (SPA/BD Protocol) of the Barcelona Convention, SPA/RAC is launching a call for the provision of consultancy services for the development of concepts for the SPAMI Day and SPAMI Certificate.

Proposals must be received by email at car-asp@spa-rac.org, no later than Wednesday 3 February 2021, at 23:59 UTC+1 (Tunis Time).
