On Tuesday 12^th February 2013, the Tunisian association "Assiciation Tunisienne d'Etudes et de Recherches sur les Cétacés" (Houtiyat) has notified the stranding of a whale (family of Balaenopteridae) at the Kerkennah Islands (Eastern Tunisia).
