Abstract	This report is the case ot Miramare Natural Marine Reserve of Triestre, Italy, and how this particular MPA followed the fiel-testing process of the guidebook. This case study will provide MPA managers ans practitioners working in similar MPAs an example of how the guidebook can be applied and adapted to conduct management effectiveness evaluations.
