UNEP/MAP - SPA/RAC is launching a call for consultancy for the development of a surveillance strategy to stop illegal fishing activities in the Kuriat MCPA

 

 

 

 

 

Within the framework of the implementation of the "Empowering the legacy: Scaling up co-managed and financially sustainable No-Take Zones/Marine Protected Areas" (NTZ/MPA Project) funded by MAVA, SPA/RAC launches a call for consultancy, in collaboration with the Coastal Protection and Management Agency (APAL) and Notre Grand Bleu (NGB) NGO for the development of a surveillance strategy to stop illegal fishing activities and mitigate their impact on the sensitive marine habitats of the future Marine and Coastal Protected Area (MCPA) of the Kuriat Islands in Tunisia.
The call is open to Tunisian consultants with proven expertise in the study and monitoring of the fisheries sector, including illegal fishing. Proposals must be received no later than 30 March 2021 at 23:59 UTC+1 (Tunis time).
